Job Summary
The New Business Development Manager drives new business in the promotional products industry by prospecting, qualifying, and closing accounts before transitioning them to Account Managers. This role is performance-driven and highly rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and pursue new business through calls, networking, social media, and research.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
New Client Acquisition
- Communicate EJPPG’s value proposition.
- Conduct needs assessments and deliver persuasive presentations/proposals.
Closing & Transition
- Consistently meet or exceed quotas.
- Document client info, update CRM, and hand off accounts smoothly to Account Managers.
Brand Ambassador
- Represent EJPPG at trade shows, networking, regional and industry events to expand viability, credibility, and expand our reach
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven B2B sales success with a hunter mentality.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable handling rejection.
- Strong skills in networking and relationship building
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce/HubSpot) + Microsoft Office.
- Regional travel required, valid driver’s license and transportation.
